In previous major international events, AEDs have never been fully equipped in all competition and non-competition venues. In the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, AEDs were only featured in medical stations at competition venues.

During the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, all competition and non-competition venues achieved full AED coverage, the first time ever in Olympic Games history. This was highly praised by the Vice President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Jousing Medical was selected as the only AED provider for the 2022 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games due to its full compliance with the strict standards of safety upheld by the Olympic Games.
